Phone Book 2008 Tutorial

Due to Illness the tutorial will not be out until November. Sorry for any inconvenience.

On November 1st, ill be posting a new tutorial on how to create a simple phone book using Visual Studio 2008 Express and SQL Server 2005. You can get these programs for free from www.microsoft.com/express/. This will be a great tutorial for people just beginning programming or new to DotNetNuke Module development. I will include the thought process of why I did what I did, but also how I found the answer to questions I'm sure will come up.  This will be a guide for the new programmer that is trying to learn the .Net language, and also the DotNetNuke© framework.

The world of creating websites has changed dramatically in the last 10 years. With frameworks like DotNetNuke© website creation and security are very easy.

A good knowledge of HTML would be very helpful before you try to begin creating DNN modules.

For a free lesson go to www.w3schools.com/HTML/

Starting November 1 and you have the basics down go the the Phone Book Tutorial.

If you have any problems, post them in the forum.
